Therese McNerney received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 1986. She founded Precision Physical Therapy in 2001.  Continuing education has played integral role in her career development.  Pilates, Dry Needling, ART, Trigenics, Graston, Mobilization and Manipulation and most recently Dynamic Neuromuscular Rehabilitation have provided her with a toolbox of techniques to help even the most complicated patients.

Therese uses a hands on approach in a one on one environment with her patients to manage musculoskeletal problems. She has written four Physical Therapy textbooks and multiple articles and chapters on rehabilitation.

Elizabeth Kahrl is a highly skilled manual therapist. She has been practicing physical therapy since 1995. She has also been a certified athletic trainer (ATC) since 1993.

In 2008, she earned her certification in orthopedic manual therapy (COMT) from Maitland Australian Physiotherapy. Liz has worked extensively in outpatient orthopedic environments and specializes in joint and neural mobilization, myofascial release, and neuromuscular reeducation and she is also certified in Functional Dry Needling.

Outside of her work environment, Liz is an avid runner and loves to participate in all sports. After experiencing an ACL tear while skiing, she learned first-hand the rigorous rehab and commitment involved in recovery. As a result of the rehab, she has been able to return to skiing and participate in an olympic distance triathlon, a tough mudder challenge, and various running competitions. Liz also speaks fluent Spanish and Italian.

  • "I have been treated by Dr. McNerney periodically for over 10 years, when I was first referred to her by my physician, who called her the best PT in the DC area. She has seen me through several bad back problems, getting me back to normal, or close to normal, with individualized care and insight. She uses a variety of methods, develops a tailored program of exercises, and gives the encouragement that is necessary in chronic pain situations."

  • "Dr. Lambros Georgallas is an excellent physical therapist! I have been treated by him for close to a decade for various orthopedic and movement rehabilitation needs across two of his locations. I initially found him after the original PT group assigned by the orthopedic surgeon center was dialing in their approach to my surgical recovery. Dr. Georgallas is extremely thorough in his diagnosis with and without a physician's referral and explains and tailors his treatment to my specific recovery needs, lifestyle, and ultimate functional goals. In my experience he is an attentive clinician who stays current on trends and innovations in his practice and integrates a genuine wholistic approach to pain reduction and mobility. I highly recommend him for surgical and non-surgical rehabilitation and functional movement tune ups!"

  • "Liz is the most thorough PT I have ever seen, and I have been to MANY. She is fabulous for athletes, & truly anyone who wants to be active and not be side-lined by injuries. Specific strengths include: she fully evaluates bio-mechanics during each visit, she performs a great amount of manual therapy, and she is always learning the latest tools and techniques (including dry needling, etc). The results I have seen surpass others such that I choose to see her despite being outside my insurance."
